Role Title:   Storyteller

Location:   Home-based or Virtual (with the option of face-to-face supervision in London).

Responsible to: The Recruitment Project Manager, with guidance from the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role: Creating and editing stories to ensure our stakeholders feel connected to the Radical brand.

Purpose:   To capture and share the experiences of our stakeholders through creative storytelling increasing traffic to our website and digital channels and promoting our services to a range of audiences.

This will be a great opportunity for a talented and driven volunteer who is keen to support a small start-up business to grow and flourish. Radical Recruit is seeking an individual who would enjoy the chance to help us attract a range of stakeholders through great storytelling.

Our Aim: We employ a values led approach to sourcing talent and represent those who are underrepresented in the labour market; working exclusively with disadvantaged candidates from marginalised communities to support them into work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Publishing Radical articles and success stories.
  • Conducting interviews with a range of stakeholders.
  • Promoting key messaging and new content.
  • Identifying and pitching ideas for content.
  • Inviting bloggers, experts, or other notable guests to contribute content across our Radical digital platforms.
  • Staying current on industry trends for opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger more engaging content.
  • Analysing data to monitor content performance.
  • Collaborate with the Radical team to ensure stories fit within strategy and align with the Radical brand.

What you will need

  • A strong understanding of digital and social media.
  • Your own equipment and software.
  • Ability to navigate a range of social media platforms.
  • Creativity and a love of storytelling.
  • A versatile, flexible, and dynamic attitude.
  • Ability to remain abreast of key marketing and social media trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent use of initiative and a collaborative approach.
  • Influencing skills.
