Role Title:  Digital Designer

Location:   Home-based or Virtual (with the option of face-to-face supervision in London)

Responsible to: The Recruitment Project Manager, with guidance from the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role: Creating digital assets for multimedia and graphics projects including websites, social media, email, digital and print collateral.

Purpose:   To strengthen the Radical brand and increase stakeholder interaction through the creation of unique and attractive digital assets.  This will be a great opportunity for a talented and driven volunteer who is keen to support a small start-up business to grow and flourish. Radical Recruit is seeking an individual who would enjoy the chance to help us attract a range of stakeholders through exciting digital designs.

Our Aim: We employ a values led approach to sourcing talent and represent those who are underrepresented in the labour market; working exclusively with disadvantaged candidates from marginalised communities to support them into work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Research trends and present ideas to the Radical leadership team.
  • Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Radical team to ensure digital assets align with the Radical mission and brand.
  • Quickly translate ideas into tangible mock-ups.
  • Develop new designs based on user feedback.
  • Create multimedia digital assets for a range of platforms.
  • Create email designs for CRM programmes.
  • Design and develop homepages, landing pages, and email concepts.

What you will need

  • Experience in a digital design role.
  • A portfolio of digital designs is desirable.
  • Your own equipment and software.
  • Knowledge of design software programmes.
  • The ability to present design ideas for campaigns and projects.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
